► Diversity Officer

Hi Guys and Girls, My name is Shakira (more commonly known around campus as Shakes) and I am your Diversity officer for the upcoming year. I am a 3rd year Working with Children and Young People Student and I plan to use a variety of approaches in order to celebrate diversity and to use different events/media formats (such as PowerPoints, leaflets and posters) around campus to heighten awareness of diverse issues that may be up and coming either around campus or in general. At the beginning of the year I will be creating a diversity team for students to help cover the many different areas of diversity. If anyone would like any more information, feel free to come and say ‘hello’ at some point during freshers. Looking forward to meeting you all, see you in September!
